Years ago I watched how much attention Omegle-style sites got. There were loads of musicians, comedians and generally talented people using them just to show someone what they could do. But the random matching made it weird, and often worse than weird. The obvious alternative is going live on Twitch or YouTube, but unless you already have an audience you're one of thousands of streams nobody sees.
